Central Sterile Processing Technician (Full Time)

Performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or
1 year central sterile processing experience preferred.
Certification in sterile processing encouraged and recommended.
Current BLS certification.
Language Skills:
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Skills:
Basic computer knowledge.
Strong communication skills
Critical Physical Demand Summary:
Lifting Combo Lift: Exert 1 to 30 lbs rarely.
Lifting Mid Range Lift: Exert 50 to 75 lbs rarely.
Carrying Preferred: Exert 1 to 30 lbs occasionally.
Push/Pull Push: Exert 110 to 110 lbs rarely.
Push/Pull Both push and pull: Exert 20 to 50 lbs occasionally.
Grip Preferred: Exert 10 to 40 lbs rarely.
Grip Able to alternate: Exert 10 to 40 lbs frequently.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
