House Supervisor (RN) (Full Time)

The House Supervisor supports the operations of Southwest Health System, Inc. by providing clinical and administrative coverage during nights, weekends and holidays. Responsibilities require knowledge of hospital and nursing policies and procedures. The House Supervisor duties include provision of managerial and clinical links between the nurse director and department direction in their absence, and the administrator-on-call. Additionally, this position will include knowledge of Utilization Review rules and regulations as they assist physicians and staff in assigning admission status. The House Supervisor position performs professional supervisory nursing practice in the care of patients by acting as a resource to staff. The House Supervisor responds to all emergencies within the facility including rapid response, code blue, and traumas assisting as necessary.
12 hour shifts - days/nights/weekends.
Nursing Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required, bachelor degree preferred.
Current Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.
Current BLS certification.
Current PALS certification within 2 months of hire.
Current ACLS certification within 2 months of hire.
Successful completion of EKG course within 2 months of hire.
5 years of acute care experience.
Supervisory experience preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
