Chief Medical Services Officer (Full Time) **NO RECRUITERS PLEASE**

Responsible for managing and monitoring daily activities of all Southwest Medical Group Clinics and Medical Staff providers within the Southwest Health System, Inc. to ensure all elements are running efficiently and effectively. Monitors the performance, budgets, policies and procedures of assigned areas to ensure they are in conformance with overall SHS goals and policies. Part of the responsibility is ensuring the facility is properly staffed by recruiting physicians, mid-level providers, medical assistants, and non-medical staff. The CMSO works closely with the Chief of Medical Staff, CEO, Director of Medical Staff, Risk Management, Peer Review Committee, Medical Executive Committee and Board of Directors to assure continuity of recommendations and actions.
Regulatory/Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business or other related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3-7 years experience with clinic operations, medical office management, other healthcare setting, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3 years experience in hospital and/or healthcare credentialing preferable.
Language Skills:
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Skills:
Basic computer knowledge.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology, medical terminology and functions of medical staff services.
Requires excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and negotiation skills, Data Process Modeling, knowledge of competition, industry happenings and knowledge of how the Company is positioning itself is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
