PS - Family School Exploratory

TITLE: Pagosa Family School Exploratory Teacher ? Part-time QUALIFICATIONS: Expertise in one of the following fields: Physical Education/Sewing/Culinary Arts-Horticulture/Science-STEAM. Experience teaching elementary/middle school-aged children. Ability to work with/communicate with children, parents, staff and community members. Colorado License or Authorization. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; sit; and stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. REPORTS TO: Pagosa Family School Principal/Shared Schooling Liaison JOB GOAL: To provide students with a foundation in one or more of the following: Physical Education/Sewing/Culinary Arts-Horticulture/Science-STEAM . PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach 3 exploratory classes, twice a week, for a 1 quarter, to students K-8+ grade levels. Develop instructional plans and organize class time to provide a balanced program of instruction, modeling, and student work time. Provide individual and small-group instruction, adapting the curriculum to the needs of pupils with varying intellectual abilities, attitudes, and cultural backgrounds. Create lesson plans that provide a variety of instructional activities. Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior needed to provide an orderly and productive learning environment. Maintain a record of pupil attendance and make a daily report of pupil absences each period. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary: Teacher hourly rate as approved on the 2018-2019 Salary Schedule. Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays following the district's annual calendar Benefits: 1 day of discretionary paid leave per quarter. No health benefits. Hours: 2:00 pm ? 5:00 pm. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
